The need to write that Vision down.

How to Get an MBA in Life

Now we have some basic theory, how might this work out in practice? How would you formulate a vision statement for yourself? This might require far more examination, but if you start with a basic statement, you could continue to refine it as you went further through the process. So, you would ask how you see herself, or how would you like to see herself in the near future. Your personal vision statement might state that you want.

The importance of this cannot be underestimated and it is important to give some thought to these matters. But merely thinking about them is insufficient. You have to write this down. This creates a permanent record of what you really intended and at least initiates the action process. Thoughts without actions are merely good intentions. Sort of like the New Year’s resolutions. Good intentions abound, but rarely are they implemented. Here we want to implement those intentions.

You could buy yourself one of those large black diaries to keep your inner most thoughts, or you could create a few personal files in the computer and password protect them if you are not in the mood for sharing at this time. The best approach would be to create a blog. Go on the Internet and start your own blog that can be either personal or public, but still maintain your own privacy.

This blog approach addresses a number of issues. Publicizing your thoughts is one of the better ways to make sure you come through on your promises.  Telling people that you are going to lose 10 pounds or that you intend to run the marathon gives you added incentive to make sure these intentions actually happen. Once you have advertised the fact, people sense that you are going to be comfortable in discussing the matter and will most likely ask you about your continued progress. So using one of the blog sites gives you access to a large potential audience that would like to comment and see about your progress. Of course by using simply your personal computer, you can engage in revisionist history and merely delete certain aspirations that you no longer want to live up to. But using a blog, deletions after the fact might be noticed. The same problem existed with a written diary. Whiteout (that’s essentially white paint that they used on actual paper to brush over words that were not wanted) was also noticeable.
At the very least, you will have updated your computer skills.
