Drafting a Personal Vision Statement

Taking this approach, you might want to simply consider a smaller vision statement to address your physical activity, or lack thereof. In business terms, you might be considering to strategically position yourself to enter a new area, or perhaps re-enter a new area that you left some decades ago in order to follow-up some thing that seemed to carry a greater priority. Therefore, a small vision statement on how you see yourself would be someone that remains active in all respects resisting where possible and retiring where necessary.
This seems to be a bit of a daunting task, but it need not be. You do not have to reinvent your entire life in order to obtain your MBA. Like everything, starting small and working your way would be the best approach. A company might look at its entire set of activities in order to develop a mission and a vision. Alternatively, it might only look at a small portion of its activities in order to reposition itself.



I will remain physical active in all aspects of my life, resisting age where possible and retiring where necessary.



This vision statement is not overly specific, but it does provide a motivating and invigorating message that physical activity is a main focus for your future endeavors.

Cars: an unrequited love affair Most people love cars. So much of our persona can be wrapped up in the way we transport ourselves. Most males fondly remember their first vehicle. Even if it was a piece of turd. If you had a turd in high school, you were the boss. The Sunbeam Alpine became my first vehicle. Fire engine red with fins and a 1600 cc engine. An elastic held on the front bumper. Stopping suddenly meant that the bumper bounced up and down a few times. I cannot remember why I used an elastic. It was likely an emergency fix and it was all that I had around. Inertia prevented me from replacing the elastic with some wire which would have been a far better fix.
